Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

I have not seen a thread about movies on this forum! If there is, please let me know. What kind of movies do you folks enjoy? I love just about every genre

I've been enamored with Charlie Chaplin since I was 6...so of course my favorite movies include City Lights and Modern Times

Just watched Ordet by Carl Theodor Dreyer...wow, what a master of light! So good, so detail oriented

I'm curious to see if fellow Maus fans are big into movies, so please discuss :)

When I get some money I want to purchase more Fassbinder films. Beware of a Holy Whore is my favorite so far.

i'm currently watching Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters ! it's weird because i've listened to philip glass' score before watching the actual film so it's been a treat to see the music come to life

I just re-watch Tron Legacy and it's definitely better with cigarettes , being drunk , no fucking 3d glasses , and don't giving a shit about the story !

Just saying as an advice for those who didn't like it in theater .

I am going to buy Orpheus by Jean Cocteau on dvd tomorrow
Movies recently watched: Clue, The Killing, What About Bob?, The Champ (King Vidor version), Bad Lieutenant (Abel Ferrara version), Days of Heaven
I love movies so much
We should all collaborate and write a fictional screenplay about John Maus...
in the beginning, John contemplates leaving his house...this lasts for fifteen minutes
When he finally opens the door, it's like that Beetlejuice scene with the sandworms
:headscratch:

We should replace Justin Timberlake by John Maus in "bad teacher"... and change the ost and the screenplay a little bit... we just keep Cameron !

Last film seen : "Viva la muerte" by Ferdinando Arrabal

Drive was pretty good...it was a little too "European" for a backwoods cinema center.
Next on my list of movies to purchase:
The Phantom Carriage
The Laurel and Hardy Essential Collection
The Incredible Shrinking Man
and
Project: Shadowchaser :delaware:
