Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

I checked to see if there was a thread dedicated to all things Felt/Lawrence. Didn't see one. Is anyone else on here as much of a devotee as I am?

my friend just shared to me the original single version of "sunlight bathed the golden glow" and it's a nice surprise. i definitely prefer album version but i like it still:

I love the strings and the female's backing vocals seem to compliment Lawrence's voice perfectly. :victory:

Can't wait to give that mix a listen! The single version of "Sunlight Bathed..." definitely has its perks. I love the whole Maurice Deebank era of Felt, but I find myself listening to their albums with Martin Duffy a lot more.

i think felt was one of the driving forces in my steady conversion from guitar driven to keyboard driven music, and ultimately my affinity for maus et. al

also organs are pretty cool!

i still can't really get into go-kart mozart and really anything post-felt. but those 10 albums, 10 singles, and three existing youtube videos are pure wondrous lustrous gold
