Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

I'm not really well versed by any means but I Hope That You Remember is easily my favorite of what I've heard.

Did any of you pledge $2000?

There's a new RSM compilation out called Ariel Pink's Picks Vol. 1, apparently assembled by Ariel, available at R. Stevie's resurrected (digital) Cassette Club: http://rsteviemoore.bandcamp.com/.

Also, I have a question for somebody who has recently bought music from R. Stevie's main website: does he still personally burn and mail CD-Rs?

I bought CDs last summer and he did burn/label them. He also sent toilet rolls, a thank you note, pieces of cardboard food boxes, and a piece of a credit card. I think he put the trash in for packaging.

^ I haven't seen in person, but there are some videos here:
http://rsmtour.tumblr.com/

Also consider how rare an opportunity it is to see him if you live outside of the USA or far from major cities like NYC / aren't willing to travel.

Byte.fm did an Interview with him yesterday that you can stream here:

The interview is English, she just sums everything up for the German listeners in between the questions.
