Fairly late in my life (early 40s), he changed the way I listened to music. It opened up a whole new area I could appreciate. I was already an RSM fan and really felt like he took that essential vibe and created a soundtrack to my subconscious. Sounds weird but it was the most “a-ha!” moment I’ve had in decades.
