Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

Been listening to that Warfield Spillers song for a few years now since I heard this mix tape, can't get over how good it is. Probably the best rhythm guitar I've ever heard, on a par with Lou Reed's live in 69 with the Velvets.
is that the velvets bootleg called "the quine tapes", or something else?

*edit*

duh.. i just looked it up at wikipedia. unbelievably, i've never checked this out. so thanks for the reference.
also, i'm going re-visit metallic ko by the stooges. it's supposed to be a live classic and i heard it once a long time ago, but never gave it my full attention.
