Round and Round

What I'm hoping is that Round and Round doesn't become Ariel Pink's "Creep," that one popular song that sneaks its way into the mainstream a little bit and then people are going to his shows and leaving after their favorite. And then Ariel ends up hating Round and Round and removing it from his setlists. There was an interview I saw in which the interviewer asked Ariel how the old fans were adapting to the new stuff. Ariel said that that was fine, it was more about new fans adapting to the old, that many were confused when they heard anything older, anything that wasn't the Round and Round they loved.

everyone knows round and round is far from his best song... if the round and round fans just opened their ears to something like politely declined or let's get married tonite, they'd discover hooks just as catchy.
