Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

I'm so excited for all these new songs. We're getting around 50 songs in one day on Oct. 25th, and more throughout 2020. It's so many songs almost too many to take in haha. This whole Archives series is so fantastic. I bought The Kitchen Club Bundle, and October really can't come sooner.

Ariel was recently on NTS playing records and played 2 old songs of his... Iron Warrior and Burned out Love, the latter of which was mentioned in this thread where ariel gave me a list of songs that appeared on versions of Vital Pink:
Quote:
You're too late
Rock play
Safeguards from home
Monday morning
Burned out love
The likes of u
Until the night dies
Phantasm (original)
Row run rider
It depends on everything
Things I used to know
Michelle
Falling leaves
Another no answer
Fan to fortunes
Scratch that
My Molly
Jack off
Corazon que
Auto vanity
Grazing my heart
Etc
In the youtube comments ViewBob also spilled the beans that "Burned Out Love" will appear on a new project called "The Doldrums 2." I'm hoping it's a compilation of Vital Pink tracks we haven't heard before :victory:

The versions of Shaven and Until the Night Dies on the Vinyl International edition are really good quality.

Are there plans for an official release of Ariel's videos? They're all being pulled from YouTube. A few kind souls are re-upping them, but, not always in great quality.

I'm pretty sure that's the plan with the whole AP T.V. thing. I think in the video that Ariel uploaded on his channel called "Chapter 8 Some Tutorials" it was said or implied that old Ariel Pink music videos would be uploaded on AP T.V. ....I could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure that's whats happening.

So, it's tough because like, the original copies of Underground were probably different tracklists each tape. This was MOSTLY reconstructed from a CD from 2002(?) called Underground DELUXE + Rarities, and ariel's own preferences.
What we're getting is pure underground, and great lengths have been taken to preserve Ariel's original vision for all of the HG albums (RIP New Trumpets Of Time)

So I got in contact with Mexican Summer on Instagram and they said...

"Thanks for writing in - Just to clarify, we're not ruling out CD's. Ariel Archives is a big project, lots more to come. Stay tuned ✌."

I took a screenshot of the message, but I don't know how to upload it haha.
