Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

Yeah, that's the thing, unless it's done from a digital bin, tapes usually won't sound as good as if you just dubbed them yourself. Still a fun idea tho!
And yea, interest is a big thing. There'll always be collector nerds like me who have hundreds of tapes and cds, but Ariel's worried no one will care. Haha, I forget if I've said it here already, but his response when asked about remasters was to the effect of "people care about MY old music?". He thinks mex will suffer a big loss from it

i might be alone here but i care about the old stuff substantially more than any newer recordings. but in reality i am a fan for life and believe everything he touches turns to gold thus i am eagerly awaiting any new material.

i will be purchasing the vinyl first and foremost. i would do anything for a doldrums cassette though.

oh the anticipation... :kebab:

You will not be disappointed! It's SOME unheard older stuff, but even the couple of newer songs have that same experimental kick as Scared Famous/FF>>!

There's actually a lot of new stuff on it not listed there!
Also iirc, You Can Have It All is the B-side from the recent bogalusa single.
The Doldrums remaster is especially breathtaking!
the b-side is called Willing & Able. are they the same song?

Okay, so formats is where it gets WACKY, we don't know. Likely just Vinyl, but maybe CD. It's also been an idea to do a smaller release of it on Cassette or something, but we're not sure if Mex even does those.
I can't give the tracklist, but I will say it's ≈15 tracks.
Do you know if Ariel will be releasing any singles for OS2 on spotify or apple music? And will the remastered HG albums be on those platforms as well as cd and/or vinyl format?

I can't say about singles, but the masters for the albums are digitally sourced, so I'm sure there will be streaming!

do you think the remasters would be in cd and/or vinyl format as well, or only for streaming purposes?

Uhhh okay, so I've recently been told that Mex is unhappy with the amount of info we've been sharing, pretend all the posts I deleted never existed. [Nervous laughter] (no spam intended, I just really like this song)
Rest assured, there will probably be some sort of announcement soon.
