So what's with the bonus 12"? Doesn't indicate what's on it, or not that I saw anyway. Think it's just the digital bonus track? To name it Non-Sequiter Segues would be weird if it's just that one track. Speculations?

Let's break it down, shall we???
Non-Sequitur, according to (the widow's maid) some dictionary means "a conclusion or reply that doesn't follow logically from the previous statement"
So, this would mean some sort of deliberation meant as a conclusion to the full album, but not really relating to the narrative of the album itself?
Here's hoping for a redone Doldrums or something!

Psyched for the new album but think the "deluxe" version is overpriced and kind of lame.
$32 extra for a poster, slipcase, and... picture disc??!!
Picture Discs are the worst, so collector scum. They sound terrible. Why not a shellac record or wax cylinder? (And we got a free poster with Pom Pom to boot.)

Will probably succumb due to nerdery. Modern day patronage though isn't it? Fans will support the artists they love because we know they ain't making anything off of normal sales...

This looks like it's gonna be great! The fact that he's working off a central theme is particularly appetizing. I don't think he's built an album around a concept before.

Haven't made up my mind on the deluxe set yet. That bonus 12" is certainly intriguing. Ideally I'd like to have it on both LP and CD, so I'll probably pre-order the LP and buy the CD later at my local store. Or perhaps at a show ?

Am I doing a good job of containing my excitement? A new release from a man I've been known to refer to as "The Best Thing of Any Kind Ever"?
