Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

Really nice song, but a bit pedestrian for Ariel. If it was in the context of an album that was really varied, I'd feel like it was a nice little confection.. not used to hearing his solo stuff in single form..

Love hearing the mouth drums again, even if they're buried a bit in the mix.

Anyone know who played on this one? Cowrite? I think it bodes well for a full-length, even if it's a bit restrained. Kinda fits in the same vein as Hang On to Life.

Agreed. I think stuff like this worked more on albums like House Arrest, because the tone met so many extremes throughout. Like, if Alisa was a single, I probably wouldn't like it as much
