Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

Nice! Can't wait to watch that. Nice to see R Stevie himself put it up. Gives it a bit more legitimacy. (and therefore staying power. always afraid things are going to get yanked off of youtube).
Thanks for the heads up!

Someone download this! Not it.
That performance of Bloody! was kind of disturbing to me. Maybe it was the lighting? Thanks for the heads up, Viewbob!

He also put up Salvation 2003, and tonic 2004, and told me he has Knitting Factory 2006!

Wow, these are truly fantastic! For all the horror stories you hear about how his early shows were catastrophic boofests, these seem like incredible and engaging performances to me. As much as I love his live band (seen them about 5 or 6 times now) I think this is probably how his music should be experienced live

Where could I find these 'horror stories' you speak of?

Agreed, this was a great look at how good a solo show could be. Played a lot of my favorite songs too!

Toppers and Salvation sets are amazing. Who the fuck else would play a 13 minute song for a 15 minute set?

I'm aware the answer to this is probably more obvious than I'd think, but;
What's the song starting at 16:06 in the salvation set?
