in another thread, pinkspoons suggested a "covered by ariel" album entitled "under the covers." I've recently started making tapes and started a TINY tape label, and what better way to honor ariel than by putting out a bootleg covers cassette? my question is would anyone be interested in one? I'm thinking of ordering special colored tapes, plus all the artwork will be professionally printed, so the tapes will probably cost a few bucks each just to cover production costs (maybe $4?) plus around $5 shipping in North America (shipping FROM the US to Canada costs an arm and a leg, but from Canada TO the US is still cheap).
so here's the tracklist I got so far.
1. she's gone (dovers)
2. i love her still, and always will (outsiders)

16. rama ya (afric simone)
17. moya (southern death cult)
18. light my fire (doors)
19. damage done (sisters of mercy)
20. ashes to ashes (david bowie)
21. reminiscences (yeshimebet dubale)

25. no zipper (r stevie moore)
26. come my way (r stevie moore)
thanks to everyone who contributed to that old "covered by ariel pink" thread. did I miss anything? I don't think I'll include tracks that aren't straight cover songs, like
oceans of weep. the tracklist is long enough, and I don't even know if it will fit on a cassette.
there's this
holy shit cover of the marine girls' "a place in the sun" but ariel probably had nothing to do with the song.
and then there's the holy grail, the cover of felt's "a wave crashed on rocks" (alternately titled "ruined it all") that may or may not exist. does anyone have that mp3? *cough adri or possibly dean or jessi cough*
