Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

I am so chuffed to have got to a two page thread! Thank you all for your support. It's incredibly thrilling to get such a positive reaction, especially from the lofty minds of mausspace.

We want more paintings! Can I make a request for other artists? Like my new idol Phil Thomas Katt:

Do you have any influences painting wise? There's an amazing guy called Josh Keyes who is pretty awesome but you've probably heard of him I guess, i was lucky to get one of his ltd edition prints last year cuz his stuff sells pretty quick.

I checked out Josh Keyes after your recommendation and liked what I saw! I tend to be drawn to the ugly surrealism of Salvador Dali and Francis Bacon, Goya, Max Ernst etc. and then I have a soft spot for Greek Renaissance era paintings for their rich and lively colors. I don't think it would be fair to say that what I do is anything close to the art I admire, though!
Our own Kate got my work done as prints! Isn't she the greatest? Very kind of her to show her support. I can't help being obnoxiously excited seeing this:

Well App was asking for it, so here is Geneva (as a brunette, though, I'm sorry: was just informed you prefer her blonde)!

Amazing! Still impressed by those shiny clogs in the Ariel pic, too.

Very kind of you, App! Although I have the niggling feeling I should offer these to you for free. Society6 takes payment directly for the prints they make. Otherwise I would print them myself and send them to you out of friendship.

I'll buy the Ariel and Geneva ones when I get home, I'm still deciding on which Maus I'll buy. Oooh and the Geneva pillow would be cool as hell 8D
