Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

I'm new to Ms Jacuzzi's music but I can already see why her fans love her so.
Good stuff.

edit: Malcolm MOONEY? wow. That must have been cool.
He's still a marvel, did a set of early CAN tracks and some improv. Three from Monster Movie!

Anyone going to the London show or indeed any of her European shows? Just got my ticket for Bethnal Green Working Man's Club, would be nice to see some of you there.

I'm not going, but would you (or anyone else who might be going) be willing to grab me a copy of her handmade "secret demo" CD? I'll of course pay for everything

Iris is going, too, Wowie. Wish I could be there with you guys. I just ran through Heathrow on my way back from Australia and thought of the good times we had.

Also if anyone can pick me up something (a shirt or whatever) I'll be very grateful. And I'll PayPal you back.

The London show was awesome on Tuesday. I was surprised to see the venue was only half full but it gave it a more relaxed and intimate atmosphere. By the end of the show there was foil everywhere and she finished the set with what seemed like an emotional (for her) version of Macho Island sung lying on her back on the floor at our feet. She played Glasgow the following night with Molly Nilsson which would have been great if I wasn't working.

Great merch table too, loads of handmade Secret Demos and Technophelia CD-Rs

Got to meet her at the end too, she's really nice (and rather tiny)

Anyone possibly motivated enough to put up Secret Demos again? Or more specifically, just The Last Song (nr. 15) of that CDR? Been hunting for that chune everywhere but so far, no dice. Would happily reimburse anyone for the effort! #fingerscrossed #wereinthistogether #letsdothisteamgoodmusic

Someone posted this in a FB group tonight, Geneva opening for Poptone in Austin. Such a badass picture I had to share it here.
