Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

Ask Adri. I was pretty drunk, and my memory is rubbish at the best of times. I'm sure I asked him that too!

Oh, also there is a guy that I see online here now and again called Ronald. He is in Estonia, so I'm guessing he might be at the show, he might make his first post then ;)
Hello lads and lasses!

This is my first post here. Yes Dean I'm in Estonia. Send Harry Merry my love and blessings.

Ronald

Welcome Ronald! Enjoy the show tonight, if it is anything like when I saw him then you're in for a fun time! I'm hopefully going to see Harry Merry next month, which should be great.

it may sound a bit boring, but it was "amazing"..well.. at least.
i liked that he started to play before the organiser ended his welcome-speech. he did the first song on the floor between crowd and stage, so from back one could only occasionally see his head. i was a bit afraid that he will never get on stage, but luckily he wasn't that radical. while i had never seen even a single live-video-clip of him i was really amazed how intense he was, i.a. tearing his shirt and acting out like a real madman. crowd (at least the front rows of it) went nuts quite crazy, so the overall feeling was really great. show was held in a former factory turned to cultural/art centre, so the place was just right - not too posh, a bit desolate, but cosy enough. there was lot of reverb/echo in his vocals, so it felt pretty psychedelic allover. definately one of the best gigs i've seen this year.

oh, i forgot - i friend of mine has PhD in philosophy like John does and he sings in a lo-fi experimental group called Kreatiivmootor. I don't now if they talked about philosophy but at least he gave John his record..which looks a bit like "love is real" (same mirror material..)
just a few nice coincidences..

There will be more pictures as soon as possible... probably after the holidays though.
