Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

Hello!

I have been looking for a really long time for the synths that John Maus plays. I would be very grateful if you could send me the info.

Thank you very much and all the best,

Ángel Valiente

"The principal difference with sample-based synthesis is that the seed waveforms are sampled sounds or instruments instead of fundamental waveforms such as sine and saw waves used in other types of synthesis."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sample-based_synthesis

who can tell?

has anyone ever participated in a listening test to find out whether the human ear can distinguish between these two forms of synthesis?

Theoretically, I guess it's the same difference there is between a really accurate oil painting and a photograph.
