Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

I'm going to the Amsterdam show on Friday, as long as I can get in! They sell tickets on the door, and since the praise from the new album the Last.FM people who are going went from 7 to 40+ with another 40 maybes.

That was mental. Gig sold out - but fortunately I was already in the venue..... it was crammed so much that it was pretty impossible to see much, although after Bright Lit Blue Skies and Round and Round the crowd did seem to thin out a little (fuck Pitchfork), he played a very similar set to what Adri posted. Starting with Menopause Man, Poultry Head, Jules lost his jewels... he didn't play Butthouse Blondies, but he did play Flashback and Hardcore pops. Fun gig as always, but seriously if this crowd was anything to go by he's gotten big!
