Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

Pom Pom sounds so good live! I had a great time seeing Ariel Pink on Friday.
Any chance of a more detailed review if you have the time? I'd love to hear about the show.

I remember seeing LL post the setlist for the show she went to and I was slightly disappointed that he wasn't going to be playing older songs. After seeing the show, I definitely didn't mind that he played all of pom pom. Ariel and the band sounded so good. It was easily the best sound in the 4-5 times I have seen him.

He started off the show with White Freckles, and that got the crowd moving. After that it was a steady progression to Not Enough Violence, and the crowd hit its peak. I think I tripped over someone at some point, and then helped them up.

No, but I was at one of the Dallas shows for the Mature Themes tour. I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma so it's gonna be a 10 hour drive to Denver. It will 100% be worth it to see Pom Pom live :victory:

I did see Deerhunter and MGMT in Denver in 2013, tho.

Here are some good pics from the Denver show. They sounded great! Ariel's sweet voice even moved some kid to propose to his lady! She said yes - so cute.

I remember them telling me they were doing a radio show (or something?) in Seattle the day after the Portland show. Can anybody find that? I wasn't able to.
