Maus Space

I've continually had a liking for the mystical, but it wasn't until I matured a little iota that I discovered John Maus!

Awesome. I'll probably see them at the Casbah in SD and maybe in LA too because it's at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

Ariel should do a show with Phil Thomas Katt and Mark Gormley

I'm thinking about the Pittsburgh show. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think he's played there before.

I'm seriously considering the chicago shows. Does 2 shows in one day worry anybody else?? I'm sure they can pull it off but the timing seems pretty tight since they will be in minneapolis the night before.....

Also for ppl in chicago, how do you get to dekalb? I was gonna fly to chicago but haven't found a good way to get over to dekalb? I know I sent some buttons to somebody up there but can't remember who it was.....any help/ideas are appreciated!

But I'm definitely going to new orleans. Already got that one figure out and probably gonna get to portland too. :)

And don't worry lady laz I'm fully planning on giving ariel your notecards!! He gets 2 and I'm keeping one. I think that's fair.

I have not! But I do have a bag of about 200 that I never put the backs on left over from october. Sadly, I have developed carpal tunnel from button making...BUT, don't worry! I am getting a paper cutter from my dad this week and that will help a lot - using scissors is very hard on the wrist...I've been nice so far, but going forward you guys may have to put the backs on them for yourselves.

I think I am going to book my flight to portland today. :) May 23rd - can't wait!!!!

PG - when will you know about your summer plans?? it would be so great to meet up with you in chicago!!

I will know sometime next month I hope. It's very suspenseful. I'm thinking I'll probably be in Cleveland, but that's because I've been a bit pessimistic.

I'll be staying in Columbus this summer, so I'll be going to the Cleveland show. Sorry Kate!

at least you get to see him. :) I don't think I will make it to Chicago either this time. There is an oncologist convention in town that weekend and there are seriously NO hotels available. :(

3 weeks and 1 day until the Portland show though!!! yay!

Holy Shit is going to be opening up for APHG at the California shows. I would get tickets if you plan on going..may sell out.

This is really neat because I just recently started making (again) Jordan's Stranded at Two Harbors buttons. They've been out of circulation for many years now... too bad they won't get the buttons until AFTER the California shows though. :headscratch:

I just found out I can go to the show in Dekalb!!!
I'm going to see him!!!! So happy about that, especially since I missed him in Austin last year. ( I was only 10 minutes from the place...)
I'm just curious to see what he will have for merch! Can you guys let me know if your attending any of the earlier shows? I want to know what they will have, because I want to buy it all!
What did he have on the last tour?

I think the Dekalb show will be a good one! I wanted to go, but can't make it work out. oh well, you will have to report back and tell me what I missed!

In general, they always have CDs, vinyl and t-shirts for sale. Last tour, they had a Worn Copy t-shirt and a "is this the best spot" t-shirt.
