I still listen to JM all the time (in fact I am doing so right now), and peek back here now and then to see if anyone knows what's up. It is sad that he is MIA. I wonder how we can coax him out?

Fear of flying is a killer. I used to do the train -> ferry -> train which took 13 hours to get from the Netherlands to where I'm from in England. I'm not over it, but for the last few trips I've flown - the flight is 1 hour. You're lucky to have the option! The isolation here is a killer - a boat ...

It almost makes a NZ girl want to plan a trip over! Now, just to get over that pesky fear of flying...

God it pisses me off watching this. I want to hunt down and kill all the people talking through the songs. I don't know how he goes out and gives so much intensity for so little reward. Makes me want to see him in front of a big, worshipful crowd. Especially frustrating because I will probably never...

I've danced to "Rights for Gays" at a wedding. It was glorious.

Every time "i don't eat human beings" starts , i expect to hear the score of the movie "the neverending story". Haaa , Giorgio , you really got me . (same thing for "molly" and Les Ritas Mitsouko ) Totally. He was clearly very influenced by The Neverending Story while making this album (as I also s...

I should know that thing about the mug - I'm sure I do in fact, somewhere in my subconscious.

The mic ad is hilarious! I should get 'shopping...

Fishfinger! You're a genius. I've been wanting my own mug for work - I'll get me a JM one made. W00t!

Batmania - the last time I tried Gimp it was, unfortunately, nowhere near as good a Photoshop. Not even on the same planet.

Ha, you're probably right. I guess nothing will replace the slack-jawed awe that comes with first discovering JM. |:o

Aw Batmania, we're friendly folk here. No need to be ashamed. I found your post interesting. Gave me an insight into the younger generation 8D

Someone had to be first, so it might as well be me! On first listen I was quite underwhelmed. Having now listened to the album a couple of times, I am a little less disappointed than I was. There are, in fact, several tracks I really love. But still, it's no Love is Real . Maybe the problem is havin...

i think i'm right in saying that lady gaga is a pretty safe bet for guilty-pleasure hipster music. people are fascinated by her, and gen-y indie kids (i think this is synonymous with "hipster" and "young person a-happenin'") are probably more reluctant to trash her than to admit enjoying her music,...

I feel weird about all the new support, mainly because I know of some bandwagon jumpers who are suddenly running out to buy the new album despite me trying unsuccessfully to introduce them to his music in the past. It's annoying, because it's so bloody obvious they are doing it for "cred" - the musi...
